It has been way too long since I've used this little guy to create a card, and I thought since I have a new software program to create videos with why not do a quick Inktense tutorial to go with it.  In my original video from way back (2011) I noticed how blurry it was and even though this video is a bit shorter I think I managed to put just as much info in, so let me know what you think.  Here's the card I created using the current challenge over at Colour Throwdown.

Today I've used Daler Rowney 100% Cotton paper and stamped my image slightly off centre before adding the sentiment.  I went about colouring with Inktense Pencils and creating the video below :)

After I had finished colouring my image (and the video) I decided to add in a coloured background.  My only hope that the soft colours are not too girly for my 25 year old son!  Yes it's his birthday next week and this is the card we're giving him.  Oh well he'll just have to like it regardless of his age!

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Andrea

INKtensely Doodled

Monday 2 October 2017

I've had fun this week finishing a new Printable set and creating some samples to go with it.  My new set is called Doodle Delicious and is a bit of a combo of clusters of flowers and individual images to create your own.

I started with the circle and stem as well as leaves, layering them and resizing to achieve a simple layout, then set about filling in my design.  You'll see exactly what I mean in the video.
I also used masking fluid in a few key areas.

I used both Inktense Pencils and Blocks for the first card and just the pencils for the next two.  The colour really is just as vibrant as it appears.  Lastly I added the sentiment.. a little freehand expression lol!  Not good at that, usually relying on a font to print or a stamp.

I
kept the next a little simpler and the one below just adding in the grass and a few vines.

What a year I've had so far.  We went on our very first overseas trip in June to Europe and we are in love.  London, Paris, Milan, Florence and Rome are places we have to visit again, and will one day.  The saving began the minute I arrived home (well after I had another 2 weeks vacation and then started a new job).  Life has been crazy wonderful!
I set up this blog moving some of my posts across from my Wordpress blog to save that yearly fee, and will soon change my 'shop' (which is really just a hobby) over to a less expensive format all in the hope of changing my mindset from the AnnaBelle Stamps era to a home hobby again.
Have a great week!
Smiles,
Andrea
