Using Multiple Digi Images

Sunday 21 January 2018

Today I'm using multiple digi images in a Word document to create my card.  The images in the Hold A Candle set are all .png with a transparent background and white filled so that they can be overlapped.

I started by opening a new document in Word, in this case it was an A5 size, inserted my images, adjusted then printed on to Smooth White Cardstock, then coloured with Copic Markers for a super quick card :)

Have a fantastic Sunday afternoon.

Creating a Card using Digi Stamps in Word

Thursday 18 January 2018

Today I have a very quick card using the Hold A Candle Printable Stamp Set.  I generally create in Illustrator, but I realise not everyone has this program, so I've put together some basic steps using digi stamps in a Word document.

Once I had my image and text set up I printed on to Smooth White card and coloured with Copic Markers.  Hope you enjoy the short video :)

Hold A Candle Pages

Wednesday 17 January 2018

To compliment the digi set 'Hold A Candle', I've added a new product called Printable Pages.  These are perfect for those that don't feel confident using digi stamp sets and include pre-designed A4 sheets that you simply print, cut and colour.
PP Hold A Candle has eight designs - 4 on each page - that are repeated with sentiments.  For the examples below I have used the new freebie 'Greetings' you will find on the freebies page and attached after using dimensional foam.

Here's a quick video making the above card..

I have used smooth white card to print these images on, and then coloured using Copic Markers.

They were very quick to pull together!
The hardest part is trying to pictures of white card!  I'm hopeless at it!!

Hope you enjoy the quick video.

Andrea

Birthday Doodles

Tuesday 2 January 2018

Hi and "Happy New Year!"  I hope all had a very blessed Christmas with family and friends, and that the coming year is filled with joy, hope and happiness.
Just to show that I was not totally slack when it came to making Christmas cards this year, I've included a little sample of what I made below :)
To begin though here is a card I made for a friends birthday that fell during December.

I used the stem and circle from the Doodle Delicious set, repeating, resizing and overlapping them how I wanted, then set about being a little creative with my fineliner.  The beauty of doodles is that there is no right and wrong way to go about it!

I then coloured the images using Inktense Pencils by Derwent and aimed for a more subtle background to this CARD I created earlier.

On to my Christmas cards and gift cards.  I created the cards using an amazing image from Mo's Digital Pencil called 'From Bethlehem', and the gift tags using his super cute elves.

I simply added the words I wanted to share and then coloured using Copics.  Have a great week with just a little creating if you can fit it in ;)

Smiles,

Andrea
